Introduction	Biography: I was born in Klagenfurt, Austria some fifty years ago where I finished my primary and secondary education. During my college, I spent some time in South Korea as an exchange student. There I got interested in their traditional oral culture and while I was working on my PhD thesis, I met my first wife. Since she was Brazilian, I moved to her hometown Manaus where I lived until our divorce in 1995. I briefly lectured at the University of Manaus but it ended together with my marriage. Afterwards, I moved back to Europe where I started exploring the then-emerging phenomena of performances in cyber space, which remained my primary interest to this day. I wrote my first book about the topic in a lighthouse in the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea. Then I moved to my Berlin apartment where I currently reside and keep you posted on this blog.
