| Introduction | The name's Baxter. Before 2011, I had a different name and a very different lifestyle. I'd rather not think about all that, but let's just say that things were rough, and I was never much for fighting. I needed to start over, so I pulled the charm on a couple of local nuts who I could tell were the type that would cram a dog into their last square foot of free space if they thought he needed a place to crash. So I took my chance on a fresh start, and a new identity. The Eriksen's are total wackjobs, but they even find it in their heart to love five cats, so they've got to be good people, right? And how can we forget my illness? I was Heartworm positive when these guys took me in. It was thanks to the Eriksen's amazing circle of friends, and sales of these mangy little excuses for canines - The WerePups - that my life was saved and I'm now heartworm free. So...Even though I don't know what the big deal about werewolves is (They're not even real dogs, and being bipedal is so overrated!) I guess I kinda owe my life to these people, and even to werewolves in some funny way. The least I can do is share some news once in awhile. |
