| Introduction | I’m 35 (last time I did the math), and have been teaching for about 13 years. Learned classical, then improv. I play with a band Sundays in church. Born in Argentina and married to a Mexican girl. Fluent in Spanish and English. Music Ed: Hochstein Music School, Rochester, New York - Classical piano with Joseph Werner, accompanist for the RPO - Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto, Canada - Independent Study - Various piano teachers, including a few months w/ San Diego jazz pianist DC DowDell Experience as Musician: Music Director, The Ark Church, Chula Vista & Tijuana, Mexico - Pianist, choir conductor, and bandleader in both the Chula Vista and the Tijuana locations of a non-denominational Spanish church with contemporary-style worship Other stuff: - Private pilot (inactive until I get rich again) - Work in logistics for Navy contractor - 10 years in printing - Current English major at local community college - Honorary Mexican by marriage - Part-time youth pastor |
