Introduction	I'm a typical Tyke, true and proud with a wicked dry sense of humour. I don't take life or myself too seriously. I am partially dyslexic so words are both my passion and my nemesis. As I've got older I've become aware of the need to keep the Yorkshire dialect alive in both spoken & written form, less it vanish altogether. So this collection of Tyke Tall Tales has been written simply for fun, in the hope that others may enjoy Yorkshire at its most colourful. For my sins, I'm a IT nerd by day and a singer songwriter on the Yorkshire folk/acoustic scene by night. I'd love to be a full time writer - so if there are any publishers out there interested in my stories (these and many more) please get in touch!
