Introduction | I am a reference Librarian in central Florida. I am passionate about library services to "older adults". The purpose of this blog is to provide resources for librarians including: research on aging as it influences library services, library research on "older adults", incorporating Library 2.0 features for "older adults", and examples of successful "older adult" library services and programs. In addition, I hope to make librarians aware of the need to market services to older adults in their community. This is a personal blog, which does not represent the library that I work for. I have a Myspace page (RefLibrarian), a Facebook page (Isabelle Fetherston), and I am a member of the Library2.0 social network on Ning.com (RefLibrarian). However, I am not the person who writes the "Reflibrarian" blog on Blogger.com. I was a biologist (Animal Behavior) in a previous career. |
