Introduction	Photo taken on Great Wall of China Nov 2008 Recently returned from living in Spain. Working but a new pensioner. Can't give up. It would drive me potty being at home all the time. Still want to learn - though which subject I'm not sure. It will come to me........eventually.Have learnt quite a reasonable amount of Spanish and may continue. Italian interests me as it is similar, being one of the romantic languages.
Interests	Animals, particularly my own, films, books, cooking, eating, travelling.
Favorite movies	Madagascar - waiting to see Madagascar 2, Any musical, Four Weddings and a Funeral. Too many to mention. Must see Slumdog Millionaire asap.
Favorite music	Status Quo,Snow Patrol,Rod Stewart,G4, Il Divo,Meat Loaf, Norah Jones,Eva Cassidy etc etc. Duffy is growing on me.
Favorite books	Gone with the Wind, Rebecca, Anything by Paul Auster, Fingersmith by Sarah Waters, The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver,The Glass Palace by Amitav Ghosh, When we were Orphans by Kazuo Ishiguro ...too many more to mention. Always resolve to keep a list of books read in the year but always lose trach. Maybe this year!
