IntroductionThe To Be Me books are so beneficial for all children! I, Ola, am a former foster care child and a transracial adoptee. I write children's books to help develop a positive self esteem. A lot of children are unsure of who they are and feel like they don't fit in, sometimes even within their own family. My goal is to provide children with reading material dealing with topics they don't always know how to talk about. I want to empower them to find their voices! Jenn was thrilled to be a part of this experience with Ola and hopes her illustrations are fun and the stories are enriching for all of the children, families, and everyone who reads them and that all will be touched by what they created!
