Introduction“The two most important goals in communication for early intervention are increasing initiations and expanding turn-taking scenarios.”- Dr. Louis Rossetti (author of The Rossetti Infant-Toddler Language Scale and early intervention GOD)---->Danielle has been working in Early Intervention since 2009 and loving every second of it. Initially an education major, volunteer work at a school for children with Autism in downtown Baltimore inspired her to change paths and complete her undergraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Autism has remained her #1 passion and interest ever since. She finds immense gratification in her daily job as an Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathologist as this job is a combination of her two passions- babies and Autism. Due to the amazing training and implementation of ABA at her current job, Danielle has acquired skills unique for an SLP in the area of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). At first, this was a difficult and very different language to learn, but given time to witness its efficacy, she has been completely converted to the world of ABA. Danielle’s style of therapy is child-led, play centered and 100% silly.
