| Introduction | Well, a bit about me. I grew up in a home where my mother didn't cook. The joke was that she either made reservations or burnt steak. So we at out all the time. Occassionally my father would cook, and he was into creating all his own food, like eggfo marvin, paya and some squid dishes. Most of the time his food was scary. So when I got married in 1987 (for the 1st time and at 19) my Italian husband like home cooked meals. So he started me off cooking. I did ok, and wasn't horrible. Years later, and 2nd husband, and a house full of kids, my cooking hadn't improved a lot. This year though during Christmas break, I started watching the food network and decided it was time to learn how to really cook, and so here it goes...my foray into the cooking world. I thought it would be fun to document my triumps and failers. ps: please discregard any spelling errors you might see :) |
