Introduction Art, English and music. These were the only subjects I was ever any good at at school, and I've very sensibly stuck with them ever since. The three novels of my children's trilogy are: The Various, Celandine, and Winter Wood. My next novel, X Isle, is due to be published in April 09, and I'm currently working on a new one.
Interests Music, writing, drawing, paper-engineering, fore edge painting, pop-up books, automata, old cars and motorbikes, musical instruments.
Favorite Movies Ealing Comedies, Cruel Sea, Whisky Galore, Godfather, Big Lebowski, Ma Vie En Rose, Leon, King of Comedy, Some Like It Hot, Blood Simple, The Dresser, Saturday Night And Sunday Morning, any film where Rita Tushingham's walking along a canal bank and somebody's playing harmonica in the background.
