Introduction	My political ideology is staunch conservative; however, in my mind extreme conservatism and extreme liberalism are the same thing. Although a requirement, I am greatly looking forward to this class. Though I have not yet had any political experiences, my hope is that this class will motivate me to become involved. On the civics quiz, I nearly received a passing score with 69.70% correctly answering 23 out of 33 questions. On the current events quiz, I correctly answered 7 out of 11 questions.
