| Introduction | I am called to serve at Christ the Redeemer ELCA, Brecksville Ohio, as Associate in Ministry, focusing upon the area of Spiritual Direction and Faith Formation. I hope to serve the people of God as an encourager, and as a compassionate listener. In many ways I am like a midwife in that I attend the birthing of what God is calling from individuals (or bestowing to them) that reflects the truth, the love and the light of Christ. My favorite question seems to be: Where is God in all of this? How shall I (we) respond? I enjoy serving as a Spiritual Director, a writer and a retreat leader. My style of writing and leadership is in the contemplative way. I relate naturally to God's wild ones (feather, finned and furred) and gravitate towards people and activities involved with forests, mountains or water.... especially sailing! |
| Interests | Being outside...especially sailing, cross country skiing, hiking, biking writing, spiritual direction, prayer, faith formation, contemplative life, |
| Favorite music | It depends on my mood or what atmosphere I wish to experience. Music is very important to me! |
Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?
I see them as interdependent. Whenever we are required to be flexible in body, mind, emotion or spirit, it usually means that something is emerging or expanding. I see this in both progress and apparent regress. Even when something seems to be dying something new will expand, eventually, if everything (and everyone) involved is willing to be flexible.
