Introduction	I grew up chasing pheasants in Utah. even as a kid I realized how a dog makes the hunt. My Grandma had a little mutt "waggles" he was just enough dog to work his way through the marsh and kick us up a bird or two. After he got to old I convinced my dad to get me a puppy. we found a lab-springer pup. He found his fair share of birds. when given the chance he would point. I grew to appreciate good dog work. I knew at those brief moments, that I really wanted a pointing dog. Some years later My wife and I moved to Kansas with a bit of convincing we bought a Vizsla puppy. he turned out to be a nice dog. we had some memorable hunts together. A friend I was working with invited me to a fun field trial and I was hooked I tried different types of trials and found a home in NSTRA. I bought my next dog a well bred English Pointer. I have never looked back since and have been lucky enough to own some great dogs. We now live in Tucson, and love the warm desert life. My favorite place to be since Moving here is Oak covered canyons hunting Mearns quail.
