| Introduction | Leigh and I have been married for many years, weathering storms which would have put most marriages out of business. I'm glad we persevered. It takes TWO, Baby. When our 4 kids were school-age, I taught so we'd be on the same schedule. It was my way of contributing at the same time we had summers, snow days and vacations without job conflicts...the best of both worlds. 15 Years ago, we moved to Florida to escape Maine winters and spend time with our parents who lived near each other. I managed a General Nutrition Center for 10 years and spent the last 5 building jewelry skills. Spiritually, I've enjoyed these years of intimacy with my Heavenly Father. It alters what is important and gives life a different perspective and JOY in the journey. Between religion & relationship, I chose relationship. It's what Jesus came to restore on the cross, modelling relationship with His Father for us. Letting go of "stuff" puts me in a place of rest, trust and excitement for what each day brings. I wouldn't trade it for anything. Life is rich and rewarding, full of joy and hope. |
