| Introduction | I've been paddling for longer than most, and still think it is the absolute best sport on the planet. I am saddened when I see people shy away from whitewater because it seems dangerous and understand that an extreme positioning has created a scary image for them. I am therefore committed to helping make whitewater paddling a familiar activity, accessible to kids and all colors of adults via whitewater courses and parks, and to the extent I am able, align the sport with events that showcase talent, training and enthusiasm for paddling.
