| Introduction | 王煜泉女士是一位华人音乐艺术家，她擅长演奏古筝和七弦古琴。 王煜泉出生于哈尔滨，少年开始练习声乐。2004年，在北京中央电视台青年古筝表演赛上获得金奖。2012~2016年，在中国道教学院任教。2015年，在云南丽江第三届中国国际武术文化节上，获得太极拳表演赛银奖。 2016年，她移民美国后，一直在宾州斯沃斯莫尔学院任客座教师，主要传授东方古典音乐艺术，如古筝、古琴的表演艺术。 此外，王煜泉还在滨州、新州、华州的一些社区和中文学校从事古筝、古琴的面授教学。 Ms. Yuquan Wang is a young Chinese music artist playing Zither and Seven-String-Qin. Chinese Zither is an ancient musical instrument, it’s also called Guzheng. Ms. Wang was born in Northeast China, and she began learning music in her childhood. In 2004, she won a golden prize at CCTV Youth Chinese Zither Competition in Beijing. Since 2012~2016, she was a classical music teacher in Chinese Taoist College. In 2015, she won a silver medal in the Taijiquan Exhibition Match at the 3rd China International Wushu Cultural Festival in Lijiang, Yunnan. Since 2016, after she immigrated to the United States, she has been being a visiting teacher at Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania, where she taught Chinese folk music, mainly Guzheng practicing. Now, she also engages in face-to-face teaching of Guzheng in many communities and Chinese schools in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Washington DC. |
