| Introduction | To know me is to venture into a case study of the combined effects and consequent outcome of a stifled childhood accentuated by sibling abuse, in addition to ghetto hard knocks onto pubescent female innate sensitivities...I hope it would suffice to say that most sarcasm stems from some truth. (Ooh, a bit of unintentional alliteration!) I'm not happy-go-lucky, cheerful, or sunshiny all the time. Downright moody to the core, mean at times, and ever self-deprecating, I find pleasure in those fleeting moments when PMS'ing doesn't have full reign. All joking aside (was that "joking"?), I have great loves that I am blessed with and many hopes that I can only wait to see manifested. My life is speckled with humility checks and balances but it's also filled with small and great miracles that only lend themselves to quiet content and deep satisfaction. (Wow, what a change in tone. And so the pendulum continues to swing...) These things only remind me that inner peace and a life full of meaning is just a baby's tickle away and a warm embrace in which to retreat. As long as I have these, I know I'll be ok... |
