Introduction	My given name is Melissa, but over the years has been shortened to Mel or Melzee by my hubby and friends. I'm a mom to 3 boys, Nate, Jason and Corey. I am a newly appointed member of Quiltmaker magazine's Scrap Squad. I haven't been quilting all that long, about 10 years, but am a true addict!! I am a self described sponge when it comes to soaking up all things fabric and quilting. Is there any better feeling in the world than taking a pristine piece of fabric and cutting it up into smaller pieces and then putting them all back together to make a quilt? Each a work of art, flaws and all!!
