| Introduction | I'm American - a New Yorker, thank you very much - but I've been in London for the past 7 years. That's where the Fazz comes in. I was basically christened that on arrival and I'm slightly concerned it's stuck, even with the American contingent. Before London I didn't think my name could be shortened. But at least now it's suitably cool enough for British tabloid headlines a la Jacko, Madge and Macca. Ah, that lovely dry, wry British sense of humor! Sorry, that's humour. Yes, I'm here because of a boy. Hooked by the accent, and then reeled in across an ocean. Now I don't even recognize the accent - it's just his voice - S sounds just like everyone else. But I still love it. So much, in fact, that I agreed to reproduce with him and now we've got a little dual citizen (or mutt if you prefer!) of our own. T is nearly 16 months and growing with such amazing speed and wonder. It's a joy to be at home looking after him every day. Well, mostly... You're likely to come across both S and T and some other interesting characters in this blog, which is going to be about me and them and nothing and everything. Sounds erratic, I know, but maybe it will be fun. |
