| Introduction | I am currently a high school senior in the state of North Carolina. This blog has been designed to showcase the process of my product creation for my Graduation Project. I plan to create a patriotic quilt. The purpose of creating a quilt is to gain knowledge on the quilting process and to learn the proper techniques of quilting an item. Gaining knowledge of the trade and techniques are not the only reasons for crafting a quilt. The bigger purpose is to give back to the military. After learning a pattern and constructing a quilt I plan to send it to my adopted soldier, Specialist Burrell, who is currently stationed in Iraq. My hope is that the quilt will not only show my support of his worthy cause, but also provide a taste of home for him. |
