| Introduction | I studied writing and philosophy as an undergrad at UNCW. In grad school I entered the liberal studies program because of its interdisciplinary approach. I studied political science and environmental science. I have worked as a feature writer for local publications in Wilmington, NC and worked as a content creator and political strategist in Washington, DC. A decade ago I moved back to my maternal family home in the Piedmont of NC. I work as an event planner at our family farm, (when it's not corona quarantine.) I have also been working as a tutor for 20 years. Currently, I'm a new first time mom just celebrated my 40th birthday, in social isolation with my baby boy, his amazing dad, and our 4 cats. |
