| Introduction | I am an Asst. Prof. at a Kolhan University college at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India. Presently I am working on Mahimā Dharma, a subaltern socio-religious movement of 19th century Orissa, under the Doctoral Program of University of Delhi. I was Awarded Junior and Senior Research Fellowship of UGC for the research. I am Post-graduated both in Mass Communications and Oriya Literature. My fields of Interests are - History of People, Society and Culture, Orissan Studies along with Development Communications. Being a bilingual writer, I write both in Oriya and English besides translating in between the two. I am associated with SEIS and HRS as General Secretary, SSR as an associate member, Ođiā Gabeşańa Parişada (Institute for Oriya Studies) as an active lifetime members and else many academic and research institutions as resource person. Also keep interest in people's movements in India or anywhere. |
