| Introduction | This blog is the story of my journey to finding out what has been wrong with me for three years, or longer so I will be posting when I am able pertinent information about how I found out that I have Secondary Hyperparthyroidism and what it is like to live with it. I will be posting what treatment they finally decide to use to treat my disease. I want to make this disease more out there for people to learn about and hopefully to help others that, like me, have been sick for along time but could find no answers. |
| Interests | I love my dogs, all five of them. I used to rescue dog before I got so sick. I have a beautiful red husky named Mika, a Papillion named Pepper, a Shih Tzu that is very old, blind and deaf named Harley an then two outside dogs named Bear (after Bear Bryant of course!) and Babe. I also love reading, I read all the time on my tablet. I love riding Harley's when I feel well enough to ride. I love my church and church work and I love going to Jeff Bates concerts. |
| Favorite music | I love Christian music, most all kinds but really love some of the contemporary singers like Big Daddy Weave, Chris Tomlin, etc. I used to love country music but mostly country isn't country anymore but I do love Jeff Bates and go to his concerts any time he is close enough for me and my niece, who is my foster daughter now, to go. |
| Favorite books | I love any kind of old historical books, stories about crossing our country in wagon trains. Learning the hardships those people endured to make our country what is is today. |
