Introduction	I am a resident of San Mateo County concerned about the qualifications of city, county and state candidates elected to positions in local government offices. The currently serving Assistant Treasurer for San Mateo County lost 155 million dollars in the Lehman Brother's collapse! Why doesn't the newly elected Treasurer, Sandie Arnott replace him? It was widely known that Lehman Brothers invested in subprime mortgages and that the Lehman stock had been volatile for more than 2 years before the collapse. Safe investment requires continual review of the underlying financial health of a company. I believe more could have been done to protect our tax dollars.
