Introduction | Fact: My name is Leah Broadby and I’m from Tasmania. Tasmania is distinguishable from Tanzania - we are the ones with the devils. Fact: My husband’s name is Moonho Cho and he’s from Korea. You can tell that he isn’t North Korean because he is able to spend his days flitting around the world with a Tasmanian. Fact: 'Artist and writer' is the most conveniently vague description I can find for myself. Writing began in the early days because I won some competitions in primary school and got rather a kick out of it. Art began because I listened to one too many art classes while nude modelling for them. Both serve as vents via which bits of the other world in my head can occasionally escape. Fact: My husband is a journalist. But not only is he a journalist; he also does inexplicable little dances out of the blue. They are silly and rather grand, I think. Fact: We are both crazy enough to throw away a perfectly dandy life in Korea and start a new and uncertain one… in an auto rickshaw! |
