Introduction	I am dribble down the crevassed tree trunk I am the sound of slapping leaves I am slicing light beneath the door, petals between cobblestones, the drop of vodka balancing on lip on bottle, I am buttery fallen puddles stirred, the warmth behind curtains, frost rubbed to sea glass caught by the darkest woodgrain. I am a fast car, the black watermelon in your kitchen, apple- vinegar in the salt-shaker, wrinkled in aluminum leftovers. I am the mysterious jar- I have been handed to the stonewall, pillowed tooth-like under that blanket that fell at 3 AM, I cracked the driveway tar I brass in the organ's pipes, bumble the trumpet, sand the cello- I am fog.
