| Introduction | What about me? I was born in Detroit, I was raised mostly in Wayne and Inkster, MI. I am a graduate of Wayne Memorial H.S. and Eastern Michigan University. I met my wife in college we were best friends all through college and not much has changed since but maybe our little addition, our daughter Anaya. I am a poet by life experience and Army Officer by trade. I am in Iraq for my second tour I am a Commander for a communications company in a Stryker Regiment. I am here just to share life with you as I know it from Baghdad. The good, the bad, the ugly. |
| Interests | I guess my biggest interest is life, waking up in the morning and being able to just be, being with my family, reading, learning, fitness, being a Soldier, traveling, learning others culture, drinking tea or coffee, smoking cigars, outdoors activities....did I say living! |
| Favorite movies | I am not a huge movie buff...but I do like all Denzel Washington movies in particularly If I have a favorite I would have to say Malcolm X by Spike Lee. |
| Favorite music | Now Music....the heart beat of life! I love Hip Hop, R and B, Acoustic Folk like Tracy Chapman or Ayo. I am crazy Jazz fanatic mostly Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, and Rachelle Farrell. |
