IntroductionI am a happily married man. I met my wife in 2004. We had a short courtship, but we knew it was something more the first day we met. After 6 months, we were married in February of 2005 and moving across the country to CA. We survived a very long deployment and got out of the USMC in November of 2006 and moved back east. Our life has settled down quite a bit and we are grateful for all our blessings. I know that we will be starting a family and settling down. We just don't know where or when. More school for now. My job the past year and a half has been remodeling my father-in-law's home. He was hesitant at first. I guess I have been doing a good job, since he gets excited about the projects now. We may be done by June!!
InterestsI love to spend my extra time developing skills with my hands. All of you with dirty minds can go to a different site. I have spent the last year and a half teaching myself how to do my own remodeling. It is very satisfying to get work done on a home that really needs it. I have learned a lot. I enjoy Golf, when I can afford it. I love skydiving... also when I can afford it. Swimming, jogging, walking, and yes even yoga. Traveling is a big priority. We can visit family, friends, or new places with the new laptop(to bring work with us). Most importantly I love volunteering with my wife. We volunteer with our church in the nursery(0-2yr. olds), the Humane Society, and our local hospital.
Favorite moviesDon't get me started, last time I checked it took me 25 minutes to count our collection. If I had to have one favorite though, it would be "Raiders of the Lost Ark".
Favorite musicWe LOVE Jimmy Eat World, Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, Daughtry, Coldplay, U2, mostly pop/rock.
Favorite booksI read a lot of books. Mostly in between our different projects on the house. I love "The Hobbit" and the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. If you like those, you would love Robert Jordan and his wheel of time series. I have gotten sucked into various authors and will read just about anything. I do lift my Maxim subscription from time to time.
