| Introduction | Caio! Welcome to my blog! So...about me...I'm a city gal with country small town roots. There were things I learned growing up that I was always ashamed of (ridin' a tractor, fixin' cars, using tools) until I got to college and boy was I thankful! I think growing up with these skills has allowed me to be handy and execute my creative ideas. I started as a Graphic Designer "in training" and after four years, my butt got tired of sitting in front of a computer (literally). My creativity came to a hault when I couldn't incorporate physical materials into my designs. So I did what any pisces would do and changed my major track! I am now an Interdisciplanary Crafts/Object Design Major and super excited! I get to utilize materials suchs as metal, wood, fibers and ceremics as well as my previous experience in drawing, painting, screenprinting and computer arts. I am mostly encouraged to plant the roots of who I am as an artist; What do I want to do with my skills? How can I help others and expand the appreciation of art? It's my last year (hopefully) as a college student and these are questions that I am ready to take on... |
