| Introduction | I am an over-21 mother and grandmother who seemed to always be able to sew! I started taking Home Economics classes in the 8th grade (13 years old!) and fell in love with cooking and sewing. I have been desperately sewing ever since! My children wore "mom-made" clothing all their lives, and my grandchildren have, too! I can crochet, but don't enjoy it, but just recently started seriously QUILTING and am loving the "quilt-in-a-day" technique, although with me, it takes considerably more than a day! I have been married to my wonderful hubby, Chris, since 1973! We have two beautiful children - Paul, who is married to Ginger; and Jaime, who is married to Bobby. Our lovely grandchildren are Tyler, 17 - Cara, 11 - Cory, 7 - and Alyssa - 6. We have a Siamese cat, Sheba, and two Golden Retrievers, Ginny and Ranger. We live on the shores of Lake Raymond Gary in Fort Towson, Oklahoma. I love to craft, cook, collect cookbooks and recipes, SING, fish, and play with my grandkids and dogs, too! |
