| Introduction | The last 10 years have been for me a real rollercoaster ride.Let's see, I've left Singapore where I was born to migrate to Australia to become a hospitality entrepreneur,been diagnosed with terminal cancer,gone through chemotherapy and survived the dreaded chapter,built our new home on new soil,started a cafe-restaurant only to let it all go on expecting our first baby...since then I've become a full-time-stay at home mummy and and have since had my second baby! It's a lot of change to take even for a decade but I haven't had this much fun since my partying twenties...just by toning it a million notches down, smelling the roses and getting excited by the aroma of freshly baked crusty bread while tickling my uproarious kids as they collapse into a fit of giggles. What do you know? Life is either that deep rabbit hole or a box of chocolates (courtesy of Forest Gump). We'll never know, would we, or what will be the fun in it? |
