| Introduction | Apathy battles with frantic, anxious energy in a daily tug-of-war to which i look forward each evening as i either slide gently or crash jarringly into sleep, and i often wonder if it's still okay for a woman my age to throw on a slip and call it an outfit, but i usually just do it anyway. i write when i am either on the productive cusp of a terrifying panic, or am stunned into stillness by the ridiculous goddamn beauty of it all. |
