| Introduction | As a dispatcher for a consolidated dispatch agency, I have had the opportunity to answer calls from citizens,and to talk to Police Officers and Firefighters. Over the last thirteen years, I have taken my share of calls. There have been some that have made me laugh, some that have made me question humanity, and some that have made me cry. My hope with this blog is to share some of my experiences, frustrations, a bit of humor,( because we all know that humor is what gets us through those long twelve hour shifts!), and a little education in dealing with the stress that comes with doing the job I, and so many others, do.
