Introduction	In 1976 at the age of 20, I had an operation to deal with a spinal tumor. The operation left me a complete C5-6-7 quadraplegic. Being a stubborn person, I eventually realized that life would involve working a little harder if I wanted all the things life offered those without this type of challenge. After all, I wanted it all. I won't pretend it has been easy, and I still have days that frustrate the heck out of me. But I've managed a life that I feel proud of. I've got great friends, have had a couple of great relationships, I've been able to travel, had a career in Human Resources and have returned to school to begin my new career as a therapist. I own my own home, can cook up a storm, and have fun driving my BMW. I hope you'll tag along as I begin this next phase of my incredible life....
