IntroductionChristopher began Trail-building at the age of four in Ann Arbor, MI. "Growing up; there were two completely different trail sets at either end of my street. I don't remember the builders. I never tried very hard to get good at riding them,I just remember digging holes and helping stack it up." Eventually, school and XC mountain biking took over until after graduation in 2001. "I rode past this trail set in 2003 and saw the bikes they were riding and the ridiculousness they were building, and That was it for me. I knew right then that this was what I wanted to be doing. Those trails were [Thomas]Hosford's old set. That guy taught us how to DIG. We dug up every f***in' park that had forest on it those first couple seasons. We were starting two new sets every year, and the city was behind us, plowing trails we'd started three years prior" Finally the Parks department, under pressure from the local chapter of the MMBA and local riders, had a public set of jumps built in 2008. Christopher moved to NYC in the fall of 2007 from Ann Arbor Michigan. He now serves as the site developer for the dirt jumps at Highbridge park in Manhattan.
