| Introduction | Like most people, my values and perspective are influenced by those around me or those who came before me. I am solutions oriented with a sense of fairness, which means I prefer a common-sense approach rather than accepting a bundled set of positions that tend to be grouped together around political ideologies. Labels are generally an over-simplification and do little to help others understand. I am an independent thinker and am rarely impressed by any "party line." However, real solutions and clear thinkers, regardless of the affiliation, impress me. |
