Introduction	Eric Grant is the Secondary English Language Arts and Social Studies Curriculum Specialist for Buncombe County Schools, Asheville, NC. He earned his MA Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction through North Carolina State's New Literacies and Global Learning Program and was the 2011 NC Region 8 Teacher of the Year as well as a 2011 finalist for NC Teacher of the Year.
