| Introduction | Hello! My name is Dena and I live in an area called Skagit Valley, northwestern corner of Washington State. It's a small farming community and we're known for our annual tulip festival held during the month of April. I'm married with six children and nine grandchildren. We also have two dogs, one cat, and two goats. I have been sewing for 36+ years and quilting for 12 years. In 2000 my husband bought me my first sewing / embroidery machine and it was love at first sight. Through a lot of tears and trial and error, I have learned how to incorporate my designs into my sewing and quilting projects as well as digitize my own designs. I own a Pfaff 2144, Pfaff 4872, and a Brother Ult2001. For digitizing and design editing I use Origins, MasterWorks, Generations, and Pfaff Creative 4D. Although I'm very comfortable with Origins, I've been focusing on learning and utilizing my Pfaff Creative 4D program. |

Me arriving home from work dressed in a suit and wearing these gorgeous 5-inch pumps and the heel getting stuck as I stepped out of the van. I was hanging upside down with my butt in the air for quite awhile because I couldn't get the heel out of the door seam.
