| Introduction | I am in a time of great learning and unlearning, seeking a deep connection to a place, an ecosystem. That ecosystem includes people, other animals, plants, rivers, mountains, and everything else industrialized humans categorize as living and non-living. I write here for pleasure, but mostly to build a support community and inspire others who are on journeys of self-discovery, looking for companionship and encouragement. Many of the sentiments I express here are shared with many of my friends and favorite authors; my own views in many cases blend with theirs. However, no one is living my life but me, and sharing my story, learning, and knowledge is my contribution to 'making the world a better place.' |
