| Introduction | I was born and raised on a farm in the small town of Clarksburg, California. I went to UC Davis where I got a degree in Viticulture and Enology. I then took off on a two year trip around the world where I worked at wineries in South Africa, Spain, and Australia and visited many others in many countries. I got home in Nov '04 and was a substitute teacher while starting my own company called Purple Lips Home Winetastings. I bring 6 wines and glasses and then give an educational winetasting for groups of people in their homes. By the time harvest came in California I was ready for another production experience and helped make beautiful Pinot Noir and Zinfandel for Williams Selyem Winery in Sonoma. After the harvest I moved east to Atlanta where my girlfriend is studying at Emory University. After working as the Beverage Department Head for Cost Plus I took a job in sales for a local wine distributor where I currently work and when I can, continue with Purple Lips. |
