| Introduction | Sridhar Radhakrishnan is an Engineer by education; Environmentalist by passion & practice. His main areas of work covers Sustainable Agriculture & Food Sovereignty, Environmental Policy & Advocacy, and Ecosystems & Land Use Policy. Presently he functions as Steering Committee member in the ASHA-Kisan Swaraj. He is a Coordinator of the Save our Rice Campaign-India. He is also a Director in Thirunelly Agri Producer Company, a Farmer Producer Organisation, based in Wyanad. He also Co-Coordinates the Kerala Paristhithi Aikya Vedhi. He was also Director of Thanal, a voluntary organisation working on matters related to Environment, Agriculture and Climate change. He writes and comments on agriculture, food and environment policy and facilitates two policy dialogue platforms AgriInsight and EcoDialogueKerala. He authored two books related to environment and resource use. He also co-authored in the publication ‘A Green Print for Sustainable Kerala – Lessons for Existence’ .He lives in a mud and bamboo (COSTFORD) home with his wife and son at Karakulam, a panchayath in the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram city, Kerala. |
