| Introduction | Back Porch Pickins was born and built out on My Love and My Passion for Primitives & Folk Art! I am pretty much self-taught or having a watchful eye...trial and error mostly. I make my handmades paying attention to fine detail. As a little girl, I was always making something with my hands. I would spend hours-on-end creating. That passion, has taken form and become what it is today. There is not a day that goes by, that I am not "Thankful", for the ability that I have been given to create. I feel this is exactly where I am suppose to be and exactly what I am suppose to be doing. I find great happiness and comfort in sharing my handmades with all of you. Many Blessings ~Tonya |
| Interests | I have several interests that as days go by, they seem to go in all different directions. Depends on the day in my Life. |
| Favorite movies | The Proposal (with Sandra Bullock), Save the last Dance, Christmas Vacation, The Cutting Edge, Dirty Dancing, Sixteen Candle, The Breakfast Club. The list could go on and on ;) |
| Favorite music | Almost all kinds! A little bit of everything...no country twanger music (the newer country music). I love listening to Enya to relax. |
| Favorite books | Anything having to do with primitives, dollmaking, folk art, paper pretties and flowers. |
