| Introduction | Born physically of mainline denomination parents, attended public school, and church every Sunday with father and my brother until the age of 14 when I quit church and told my father I didn't believe in God anymore. Spent 20 years searching for true fulfillment in life. Louise, my wife, prayed "God, whatever it takes for Jay to come to know You, that's what I want..." Louise had an ulcer, almost died, at her bedside with very little sleep and little food, I suffered a nervous breakdown. Having firmly believed there was no God for 20 years; now in the hospital I said at least 15 times, "if there is a God I want sunlight in my room" and within minutes sunlight trickled into my room. On October 14, 1981 around 9am I admitted I was a sinner, believed Jesus died for my sins, confessed my sins, and asked Jesus into my heart. God placed an instant hunger in my heart for His Word. Time is running out on this earth, the threat of nuclear war, the plunge of economics, no guarantee of tomorrow: why not let God take control of your life for the "Good"....He loves you!!! He wants the best for YOU. Come to Him on His tearms....Repent and be saved!!!! |
