IntroductionI'm a 35 year-old, tattooed, belly dancer, geek, who is stumbling through life at an alarming rate.
InterestsHere's where the Queen Geek part comes in. My interests are (not necessarily in order of importance mind you): reading and writing comic books (or graphic novels if that term is more comfortable for you), PS3 and PC games, Star Wars, History, Neil Gaiman, Belly Dance, Role Playing, Music and Movies of many different genres, ghosts but not UFO's (ask me about Roswell sometime), reading and writing fiction, zombie movies and abandoned insane asylums, belly dance, tattoos but not piercings, vodou and East Indian music. That certainly isn’t everything but it’s all I can think of at the moment. Oh, did I mention belly dance?
Favorite moviesMovies: horror, fantasy, sci-fi, I especially like disaster flicks, not big on romantic comedy anymore because they just rehash the same script over and over. Aside from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Alfie I abhor remakes and most (not all mind you) sequels. Documentaries can be good, but are on the annoying verge of reality TV and therefore piss me off.
Favorite musicAs the "About Me" slot unsettles me, this slot mildly annoys me. My tastes in music are eclectic. If I named all the bands or types of music I liked, you'd never be done reading this or, more likely you'd just skip this part entirely. I was raised on Punk, grew into industrial, ska, rockabilly, more punk, classical, hip hop, old school country, Middle Eastern and East Indian music (Bally Sagoo yeah!). Never really got into Pop, Milli Vanilli and New Kids on the Block never got a cent from me nor will Britney Spears or any such rubbish. That's the short of it. Live.
Favorite booksAnything by: Neil Gaiman (duh), William Gibson (Pattern Recognition was a bit of a disappointment though), Philip K. Dick, Issac Assamov, History books, The Short Stories of Hemingway,Harry frickin' Potter (screw you at least I admit it). Favorite books of all time: American Gods, Good Omens, The Mists of Avalon and Fahrenheit 451. oh crap, can't forget favorite comics: Sandman (duh), Kabuki, Tank Girl (early years) and Sin City.

In the dream where you show up to school naked, why do you never go swimming?

Actually that's the first thing that I do.
