Introduction	Amy Stock is a freelance writer and environmental educator living and working in Saratoga Springs, NY. She has a Master's degree in Environmental Studies from Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA, and a Bachelor's degree in science from Rochester Institute of Technology. She has been working in the environmental field since 1992. She has written extensively for several local publications on environmental issues including a regular 'Green Scene' column in the Saratogian's Scene publication. She currently teaches Environmental Studies courses for Empire State College. She is co-founder and former Chair of the Sustainable Saratoga Task Force. She continues in an advisory capacity with the task force, though her efforts are now focused on building raised beds and growing raspberries.
