| Introduction | Aloha! My name is Mr.Brian Byrne. I’m looking forward to an exciting, productive year. This will be my 10th year of teaching English at Kahuku High School. Education: Bachelor of Arts: Speech Communication, East Stroudsburg University Master of Special Education: Beaver College (Arcadia University We will read some great books in class this year. They include: Invincible by Vince Papale, The Greatest Muhammad Ali by Walter Dean Myers, Akeelah and the Bee by James Ellison, and Coach Carter by Jasmine Jones. In addition to teaching English at Kahuku, I run the High School chess club everyday at lunch time. I also run a Wednesday Basketball Clinic for all school aged boys and girls. This year I will be head coach of the j.v boys basketball team.
