| Introduction | I have always been interested in the fine arts. It was just something that made life more beautiful. I was involved in studio art in high school and majored in studio art and decided to also get degree in all levels of art education. I still like taking classes and workshops as well as giving them. My inspiration comes from nature, textures, colors, people, lyrics and and a myriad of things that race across the canvas in my mind. I enjoy my students of every age, but primarily young and mature adults. I learn from everyone I meet in a variety of ways. Sharing brings a big smile to my face and gives my life purpose and lots of color. |
| Interests | All areas of the fine arts interest me. However, my area of specialization is the visual arts. I enjoy working in my studio producing what I visualize in my mind or what I have observed in nature. I am involved in a variety of needlework projects of my own design; fiber compositions, quilting, knitting, crocheting and sewing accessories and collecting and making dolls. Other areas of interest are travel, gardening, and genealogy. |
| Favorite movies | Movies? I have been too busy for the last year to really watch any new ones, but I particularly like mysteries, even thrillers and romantic ones. My life sometime feels like a movie. |
