Traveled extensively in France, particularly Burgundy and northern Rhone, and in Italy (Piedmont, Tuscany & Friuli) over the past two decades. Wine-lecturer on Royal Viking Cruise. Won an all expenses paid trip to Spain for placing first (New York Section) in a Wines of Spain competition in 1994. Sat the exam for Master of Wine that year. Ph.D in chemistry followed by post-doctoral training as a steroid chemist at Columbia U. Presbyterian Hospital. Presently at NYU in Pediatric Endocrinology. |
