| Introduction | Emma defended her thesis on 'Writing the Romantic Museum' in April 2013. Her next two projects will be about universities, student writing, and university presses' roles in 19th-c. literature, and on the politics of the Regency fat joke. Alex's dissertation, entitled The Emerging Modern Greek Nation and British Romantic Literature, 1790-1840, focuses on Romantic-era British writers’ and artists’ portrayals of everyday Modern Greek culture.
