Introduction	As a self-proclaimed foodie living in Boston, I love cooking absolutely anything and everything. On a recent trip to the grocery store I realized that there is a plethora of produce that I have never fathomed of picking up, let alone trying to cook. I plan to spend a year learning about these different gems (ever seen a horseradish root?) as they come into season. Learning names is just the beginning though, because the overarching goal is to work them into every day usage to one day be able to nonchalantly say, ‘Oh sure, I know how to cook fiddleheads’.
